Tripos This massive site was programmed in 1999. The site programming was completed in 6 weeks due to very tight deadlines. The complexity of the site required several navigation systems including the left column, across the top and the right "subnavigation box" which appears on every page of the site. The pull-down menu in the middle of the page was another navigation item to jump to specific deep pages in the site. HOME PAGE Notice that each page featured "cookie crumbs" beneath the title with a complete path back to the home page. The site had dozens of professional photographs and illustrations. RESEARCH FACILITIES A small team hand-coded this site often working until midnight toward the launch date. The launch was successful with only a handful of problems which were fixed immediately.
