Northstar Frozen Treats Web Sites The home page of Northstar Frozen Treats features a dancing Norton animated GIF along with several rollover images and spinning snowflakes. HOME PAGE The Ice Box was the "Products" page of the site. Each of the product categories is consumer facing with terms like "Sandwiches" or "Fudge Bars". Sample imagery was selected to use as navigation to each of the sections of the Ice Box. ICE BOX Once a product line is selected, the products in that category (sometimes dozens) are shown. Clicking on a product brings up a detail image of the product along with a brief description and a link to view the nutrition information for that product. ICE BOX - HEALTH WISE, SWEET WISE, CARB WISE Unlike most products, children have a large influence when purchasing ice cream novelties. We designed and built the site to be fun for kids and to encourage them to return. The Playground area featured a "Dancing Norton" game as well as a "Cool Cards" section where visitors could send North Star branded "e-cards" to friends. PLAYGROUND - DANCING NORTON When advertisers need high-res images of products to place in circulars or in-store ads, they can visit the "Image Library" section of the site where products are classified like in typical inventory systems - by product count. The page below shows all of the "4 count" packages. IMAGE LIBRARY With the proper password, Northstar can log into an extensive back-end to update the schedule for Norton as well as the product line and imagery. Back to Samples
