Mortgage Associated Services (MAS) - Extranet System
The home page of MAS features links to the public site but most importantly is the "Client Login" where clients log into the site. While reviewing this page, please keep in mind that ALL of the data you see is "fake" and acting as simply a place holder. There is nothing that is a secret here.

HOME PAGE

Upon logging in, the MAS staff members are allowed to update their database of contacts including brokers, title companies, staffers and mortgage companies. This page is a typical contact page for me, Scott Gurley at Group C Design. By clicking "Access Settings" MAS can enable the client to login via a username password or regenerate a password for one that has been forgotten.

CONTACT DETAILS

Once a mortgage broker logs in, they must proceed to input data for each of the data entry pages: Investor, Closing/Title Company, Property, Borrower, Loan and Fees. Shown below is the most complicated of those pages - Fees. The system does EXTENSIVE error checking and cross checking of values continuously (through Javascript and PHP). Once all necessary info (what is "necessary" is dynamic as well) is collected, the broker can submit this closing to MAS which uploads all the data into the internal MAS proprietary closing system.

CLOSING INPUT - FEES

Once a closing has been started, MAS has a nine step process they follow to complete a closing. The first four (red) are "setup" steps. The next three are "processing" and delivery steps. The final two "green" steps are for billing and collections. The page below is showing the "loan setup" page which was completed back at step 1.

SETUP CLOSING

A broker may log in and see the status of their closings at any given time. You can see here the first 20 closings (of 23) for "Scott Gurley" (a fake broker) and their status and closing dates, loan numbers and broker. There is a complete messaging system whereby I can notify MAS of changes to a closing on the fly. Likewise, while MAS does their work, the broker may be notified of any changes in status.

LIST ALL CLOSINGS

Once the work is completed, the title company is notified of the completion of the closing. They are then able to download the 50-100 page PDF with all the documents needed (along with a dynamically generated table of contents). This keeps the courier cost for MAS down as well as minimizing the delivery time.
